Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

Invite and meet with professional associations and artist groups to promote and discuss conference, convention and event services 
Meet with sponsors and organizing committees to plan theme/private events within budgets, and align the procedures and progress of events, and plan entertainment and social gatherings for participants 
Promote the events and prepare publicized material, including website and social media 
Co-ordinate services for events including facilities, signage and some special needs 
Provide training to the team member and supervise them to meet the event’ requirements 
Complete event reports and maintain the records 
Ensure compliance with required by-laws 

Job requirements: 

Must be strong communication skill, reliable, team-work spirit and solution-oriented; 
Must have completed bachelor’s degree in business, tourism or hospitality administration; 
Over 10 years’ work experience of event planner or project management; Have positive records of business growth; The previous employer referral letter is preferred; 
Have over 5 years’ team management experience, and able to work with different artists; 
Ability to communicate effectively with working partners in English, additional language will be an asset; 
Able to travel and work in flexible hour depends on business needs. 

Wages: 

Wages per hour: CAD 24-26 depends on the candidate’s qualification 
Hours of work per week: 40 hours 
Frequency of payment: bi-weekly  
Days off per week: 2 days

Job Title:   

Graphic & Website Design - Contract 

Work Location:   

Online/Remote  

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

Work with a team to develop and create graphic templates for each of our brands.  Includes event posters, email templates and all social media graphics. 
Provide support to the marketing department through digital and print channels including newspaper, sales flyers, brochures, posters and email blasts. 
Assist with the creation of designs based on instruction from the Marketing Manager and other available research/information. 
Proof materials for accuracy 
Ensure compliance with required by-laws 

Job requirements: 

Must be strong communication skill, reliable, team-work spirit and solution-oriented; 
Must have completed post secondary Graphic Design Program; 
Over 5 years’ work experience of graphic design and project management; Have positive records of business growth; The previous employer referral letter is preferred; 
Ability to communicate effectively with working partners in English, additional language will be an asset; 
Able to meet weekly and work in flexible hour depends on business needs.
